Rusted Steel Look Exterior Artwork by Di Emme Creating a striking face is possible with the help of Di Emme. Recently, they have made a rusted steel look exterior artwork for The Sherwood, which is a new sports and entertainment located in Leumeah. The sports facility boasts tennis courts and a large outdoor space that has a retractable roof. The prominent exterior artwork on The Sherwood is based on Campbelltown's aerial map. It is made with aluminium panels and has an Interpon® powder coat finish to create the look of rusted steel. Further highlighting this piece is a lighting design that is visible across the alley and the nearby train line. Di Emme worked on the concept provided by Curtin, Bathgate & Somer architects. They came up with drawings, samples, and a prototype for the client. The 8m x 8m piece was then installed by Di Emme with a block and tackle system plus a fixed scaffold.
